Daniella Kronfle: The Woman Behind the Jewels

Daniella Kronfle is Miami’s premiere jewelry designer and gemologist. Since opening her flagship store in 2003, Daniella has been outfitting the who’s who of Miami’s top fashionistas, both on the red carpet and off.  Her creations have graced the celebrity set in prestigious events such as The Oscars The Emmys, The Latin Grammy Awards, Latin Billboard Awards, and Premios Lo Nuestro.

With a client list that reads like a social registry, Miss Kronfle has been at the forefront of her trade after her showbiz debut designing the crown for the Miss Ecuador beauty pageant in 2003. Since then, she has continued on to design all the crowns and tiaras for Miss Ecuador, while also showcasing her beautiful, hand-crafted designs in other renown pageantry events such as Miss American Continent, Reina de Guayaquil, and Nuestra Belleza Latina.

Even though her top priority is her designs, Daniella has gracefully managed to become a fixture on television, with her last few appearances being on CNN and ABC News.  Because of her unique voice and expertise, Daniella has been asked repeatedly participate in programs such as NotiMujer, Despierta America, Hola Martin and Utilisima.

Always a fan of beautiful things, her involvement in the world of high jewelry began at an early age.  She was only ten years old, when her mother famed Ecuadorian jeweler Marjorie Adum celebrated the opening of the first Marge Jewelry Store in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where she spent hours on end looking at her mothers beautiful and ornate creations.

Daniella’s love affair with jewelry led her to Florence, where she coursed both Jewelry Design and Art History at Instituto Lorenz Di Medici and Instituo Per L’Arte e Il Restauro Palazzio Spinelli respectively.  After graduation Daniella went off to Paris to study French Civilization at La Sorbonne.  The years spent in Europe were influential, but it wasn’t until she was in Miami specializing in gems and pearls at GIA, that she decided to settle in the United States.

As her designs make the rounds in prestigious publications such as Vogue, Bazaar, People, and Vanidades, it’s obvious that Daniella Kronfle is no longer a celebrity secret.  A longtime outfitter to those on the best-dressed lists, Daniella Kronfle is not staying behind the scenes for long.  Her recent foray into the world of blogging with her ubiquitous Dani K Style, and her participation in the book Jewelry International III make Daniella Kronfle a designer and a brand to be recognized.

Caroline Childers: Jewelry's Finest Curator

Originally born in Paris, and now living in New York, Caroline Childers has always had a passion for jewelry, as anyone who knows her can attest. This passion has always been present in her work as a publisher, with publications such as Haute Jewelry, Rainbow of Jewelry and Great Jewelry of the World—in addition, of course, to her wildly popular Jewelry International series, now in its third volume. Caroline also publishes Watches International and Grand Complications, for the luxury timepiece aficionado.

I was very fortunate to meet Caroline in Vegas, where she took one look at my jewels as we bonded over this shared passion.  The rest is history, and now I'm proud to be included in one of her prestigious publications Jewelry International III, which will make its oficial US debut on November 17th, 2011, at Gary Nader Fine Art.
